Angela Post
In Poland, they said, “We’re just observing,” which meant I was a death sentence, but in the U.S., I’ll recover—there’s only a 5% risk of the surgery.
Imagine, waking up every morning asking yourself: “Will it break today? I made it through the night because I woke up this time.”
Conrado Moreno will be on the show Przychodnia, alongside guests: Angela Post, an ambassador for the 'Brain Embassy' foundation battling severe cerebrovascular disease, and Jacek Rozenek, an actor and author who shares his experience of recovering from a stroke. Topics covered in the conversation include rare and sudden brain diseases, Angela’s dramatic struggle to finance a complex operation in the US, Jacek’s experiences following his stroke, and the crucial role of prevention and social support when facing a diagnosis.
In interviews with TVP3 and Kurier Warszawski, Angela Post shares her story and discusses topics such as the brain, preventive care, and support for people struggling with illness. She also encourages the wider community to recognise that early prevention and thorough diagnostics can save lives and that social solidarity can enhance the quality of life for patients and their families.
Recognising the importance of preventive measures is crucial for maintaining good brain health and a high quality of life. This awareness prompts us to respond to warning signs sooner, get regular check-ups and adopt healthy habits before disease sets in. Knowledge-based prevention offers a real chance of early diagnosis, more effective treatment and a longer life in good health.
Listen to this moving story about the fight for life.
Listen to this story: how she lives with a ticking bomb in her brain.
Daj klientom powód do interesów z Tobą.
Just two years ago, Angela was leading a normal life. She had a job and was making plans for the future. Little did she know that a ticking time bomb was lurking inside her head. It started with constant headaches, blackouts and loss of vision. The symptoms began to worsen. A month before her 45th birthday, she received the devastating news that she had a quadruple arteriovenous malformation and only had five years left to live.
Angela is a young woman who wakes up every day acutely aware of the fragility of life. There’s a time bomb in her head that could explode at any moment.
Despite this, she lives. Truly. Mindfully. With gratitude. She shares her daily life, her emotions, and her strength with others. Not to elicit pity—but to show just how much it’s worth living, loving, and not putting anything off “until later.”
